Okay i'm really anxious to see this because I Liked the First two (and the ride thingie at Universal is sooo cool) but i'm a bit confused
(*Laughs* if you havent seen the second one DONT READ THE rest of the post)
Okay in the second one didnt they blow up the Terminator prototypes?? and at the end didnt the Good Terminator (played by Arnold) Melt himself??
so OKAY how in the world are they going to pull off the rising of the machines and the Good Terminator helping the people if that was the case??
and is anyonelse as anxious about seeing it as I am

Oh, yes! It's like the way I felt about the Matrix sequel, which I just saw, I gotta see it. The preview looks amazing. I've seen the first one about 15 times, and the 2nd one quite a few times. Whenever I'm flipping the channels and I come across this movies, my eyes glaze over, and before I know it I've watched it to the end again.

As to your question, why does the rise of the machines occur, even though they destroyed the prototype at Cyberdine Systems, it's probably becuase of how much money the first two movies made. But, seriously, I'm sure they'll find a way to explain it. In reality, when the inventor died and the prototypes were destroyed, including the existing two terminators, that would have to have substantially alterred the future, even if something was missed.

I went to Universl Studios in California once, and Universal Studios Florida a few times when I lived in Orlando, but I am not sure I saw a 3D or "Terminator" show. That's a good question about Eddie Furlong and Linda Hamilton. I hope that James Cameron has something to do with the film, because he's a big part of the reason that #1 and #2 were so good.

Linda Hamilton and Eddie Furlong will not be in it. Furlong has had an ongoing drug problem so he won't be in it, either. In his stead, Nick Stahl will play the role Furlong had. Regarding James Cameron, he has nothing to do with this film other than creating the characters.

I heard that in the third film- it's as if the second film didn't happen. I think they'll probably be using the excuse that they sent another terminator back in time or something- though the kid is older in it too isn't he? I've never seen Terminator 2 alternate ending- heard some audio- but maybe they use it?

Another evil Terminator coming after John Connor? They really have to tighten security around the time travel devices in the future.

Note to the guys in the future:

If you see any dangerous Terminator robots near the time travel machines, stop them from using it!

;)

Well, according to the description of John Connor in T1, John can protect John and can teach others how to protect themselves.

Yeah, I broke up with my last girlfriend about a year ago, and my male friends at work are all married and rarely see movies with me. Usually, I go alone, and wish that I had a friend to go with.

I wonder why they think it could never happen, because I think it could, or that something similar could. Good thing machines aren't that smart yet. But, the thing is, the writing, acting, and directing were so good, and the movie was so cool.

Not now, but in a hundred years......

Before I scare myself totally, I'll just say that the preview looked very good. I just hope that they can do as good a job as the first two without James Cameron. I hope he has retained some association with the project, because he's such a good storyteller and craftsman.
