Titania,

There are several on your list I like quite a bit. "The Shop Around the Corner" is a real classic. I've heard that "You've Got Mail," was a remake.

The two Marilyn pix were great, "The Matrix," of course, and "Spiderman," while not without flaws, was still wonderful to see.

I love almost ALL marilyn's movies, but Dont Bother To Knock was REALLY good, it didnt have her in the usual role. I remember seeing that when i was little and falling in love with her just then...

I haven't seen "Don't Bother to Knock," although now I will, but when I was a little kid, she really got to me in "Some Like it Hot." I loved Tony Curtis' Cary Grant impersonation in that too.

Boy are you right about Hitchcock! From "The Lady Vanishes" through "North by Northwest" and beyond, I'm not sure any other director has as much raw talent.

She plays a psychotic babysitter in Dont Bother To Knock. It's a dramatic movie, it's different from the comedies she usually does, and she plays it good!! U should also check out I Love You, Alice B. Toklas, it's sort of a crazy movie, it was made in the 60s. Splendor in the Grass I also recommend since u like odler movies, its about young girl who goes crazy because of her small town's repressive attitude about sex.

There is this one movie, I cant remember the name of it, but it was about this married couple, who were cheating on each other but they both new about it. The husband is the one who wants to do it the most, but in the end, he gets dumped and the wife is at a restaurant with the guy she cheats with her husband on, I think it was made in the seventies.....I know that's not a very good discription but if anyone knows the name of that movie tell me
