View Full Version : Probable renewal; a move to Tuesdays; Pleshette out

Buzz this morning is that GMM is being renewed whether or not Heather Locklear joins. But, Suzanne Pleshette has opted out.

The Futon Critic and Yahoo are reporting a move to Tuesdays for the show.

I'm just compiling the information as I find it, so if something is wrong, don't blame me, lol.

NBC makes a formal announcement later today at 4:00pm (eastern).

I'm thrilled that GMM is staying on but they are sending it right ot the electric chair putting it on Tuesday nights. It will be another Jesse. Good show, 2 seasons and done. :(

Why is Pleshette not coming back?

I'm not sure why Pleshette opted out. Not many details are out yet. Hopefully soon.

I'm glad it's coming back too. I also think it's going to die on Tuesdays. But, maybe a miracle will happen and it will do great there.

How predictable. I knew NBC would send it to Tuesday Night Wasteland. They always do that to shows that don't perform well on Thursday nights.

Yeah, the show has been renewed. It will air Tuesdays. The timeslot has slipped me, but I think it's in the 9pm hour.

With losing so many characters I don't think the show will make it. A move from Thursdays to Tuesdays is almost never good for a show on NBC. Frasier is one of the few NBC shows that survived that move. And they were a hit by themselves. I doubt GMM will survive without a strong lead in.

I hate to say this, but the absence of Pleshette will be no big loss...I only watched this show a few times to see her in it, and she barely even had 5 minutes of screen time in each ep! :o
