Writer with black characters looking for a clue

Excuse me, but I'm a writer and working on a story. I need help!!! My main character is a black woman and I want to know if I am portraying her accurately. I figure the viewers of Girlfriends would know since it is a show made for black women. So could somebody please drop by my site and tell me if you think I'm doing a good job. Pleeeeeez.
