An Anomaly

I have just realized something slightly odd about LITB. The boys have Uncle Billy and Aunt Martha, but don't seem to have any grandparents. Of course they could all be dead, but that's not usually the case when children are that young. Ward and June's parents are referred to, but never in the role of grandparents. Actually, I seem to recall that Ward and June's parents are never presented very favorably.

Ward always talks about how strict his dad was. That kind of gave me the impression that they didn't have a very close relationship.
As far as Junes parents go, In the ep where Aunt Martha comes to visit on the same day the boys want to go to the carnival, Ward explaines to them that Aunt Martha was like a mother to June when she was little. That made me think that her mom wasn't around, however junes mother is mentioned briefly in a few other eps.

that would of made a good episode with there grandparents!
