Luther Vandross Had A Mild Stroke

I saw him on tv the other day on the news. They said he was in the hospital in New York for a few days. He's out of the hospital now & feeling fine. He's 51 yrs old now. I wonder how did this happen. He's too young to be having a stroke. I didn't think he was this old. He looks like he's in his early 40's. I'm a big Luther fan but i was very disappointed in his last cd which came out 2 yrs ago. Only song i liked was Take You Out.

I wish Luther luck. Countless people have had strokes at early ages in their life. Luther is diabetic and his weight fluctuated back and forth. I hope he gets well soon.

I heard about this and was very sorry to hear it.Yes,Diabetes and Hypertension will both increase your chance of a stroke and he has both.I hope he recovers. :(
