Tried a search and found nothing on this case (though, God knows with all the "descriptive" thread titles like "Old Case from 91" it could have been covered and I wouldn't know it/end sarcasm).
Does anyone recall an update on the black GI who befriened the small boy in WWII? If memory serves, they had at least one photograph and the guy knew his first name. Was always surprised that this one was never found.
The "Lost Loves" segments did become tedious over the years, though I always enjoyed the military ones. I believe the soldier who saw his twin, though, was either lying or fell asleep on that train and dreamed the entire incident.
It seems to me that a lot of the "Lost Love" incidents could have been solved easier. I recall a young man who was searching for his "Big Brother" from his time as a troubled child. Hell, when they updated it, I seem to recall that friends of both of them called the "Big Brother" to let him know the guy was looking for him.
Maybe I'm being too harsh, maybe the internet the last few years has made it easier. I've easily tracked down people on the net I served with in the marines twenty years ago.
