Did anyone see the episode where was it Beaver and Richard and Whitey and some other boy? Anyway I only saw the monster on Beaver's shirt and it was an alien with three eyeballs I believe. Do you think it was really a big deal that Beaver wore that to school and that he got sent to the principal and then Ward punished him? I mean Beaver should'nt have disobeyed and wore the shirt when Ward and June told him not to but I kinda think too much of a big deal was made just becuase he wore it to school and then the students in his class laughed at him and he got sent to the principal.

People today wear clothes with monsters on them and other chracters to school and other places and it does'nt seem like a big deal so why did they make a big deal when Beaver wore a shirt with a monster on it to school? Was it becuase it was the 50's and that was'nt the thing a person would wear to school or something?

I think too much a big deal was made what does everyone else think? Then I did'nt like where was'nt it Richard's idea to wear the shirts and then Richard and Whitey and the other boy that was witht hem their parents would'nt let them wear their shirts but Beaver sneaked his to school and I did'nt like that he ended up being the only one wearing his sweatshirt and got in trouble.

That was a great episode!I think the reason was they lived in upper middle class in the 50's and something like that was just considered vulgar. By the way Ward and June were always overreacting at what the Beaver did.Or what Wally would say

For heaven sake, in the fiftes you had to wear a plaid buttoned shirt to school. Any sweathirt with a picture on it was considerd shocking! And beavers shirt had a monster on it! I'm suprized Mrs. Rayburn didnt faint!
