View Full Version : What in the world is the Oxygen Channel?

I called my cable company and asked them about the Oxygen channel and the laugh and didn't know what the hell i was talking about-LOL. Does some have info on this network?

It's a woman's network like Lifetime.They air Oprah as well as stuff like O2Be and Kate & Allie.

Is it connected to lifetime in anyway? Where in the U.S is the Oxygen Channel located?

I get the network. I saw A Different World Today. Denise had to wear a pignose and Whitley was accused of letting Dwayne spend the night in her room in the second telecast today. I'm suprised you don't get it.

ITs not a bad channel, they have sitcoms like AB Faf and Katie and Allie and Different World. They have Xena also and some movies, they arent quite like Lifetime but arent bad. You can get it on DirecTV.

They are airing I've Got A Secret and Cybill as well. It's one of my favorite channels.

No, Oxygen is not connected with Lifetime in any way (that I know of.) This channel is available only through satellite, and cable.

As many of you know by know Oprah Winfrey is the founder of the Oxygen channel.

We don't get Oxygen here. Rats, I want to see Kate and Allie again. Of course I don't know if I'd like it anymore... last time I saw it, it was during its original run.

What's with all these women networks anyhow? It's goofay.

The only thing I've ever watched on that channel is that Carrie Fisher talk show where she interviewed George Lucas and Ben Affleck.

Wish I had Oxygen. I wanna see Kate & Allie again and record the episodes. I'm surprised I don't have it since I have digital cable.
