I am getting really ticked off. There are no 80's shows on Box Sets yet on DVD.

I know that it was Sony I beleive that was conducting a poll and...

Silverspoons
Facts of Life
Diff'rent Strokes

were on the list. However, was it just a poll that they will do nothing about?

I mean come on! We need full seasons of 80's shows on DVD!

Shows such as

Facts
Diff'rent
Gimme A Break
Silver Spoons
227
Amen
Webster
Alf
Punky Brewster

So does anyone know if there are any plans of those going to DVD?

I do know that Cheers made it to DVD, but I dont really like that show. I also heard that Golden Girls and The Cosby Show did too, but when I don't know they will be released.

SO ANY NEWS IF ANY OF THESE SHOWS ARE GETTING DVD RELEASES?????

Same here. I know that some older shows like All In The Family, The Jeffersons, & Sanford & Son, and some others are being released, but I think older shows need to be released. Shows like Buffy, 24, Friends, and so on, can be found on just about every other channel. But shows like Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life, Silver Spoons, and such 70's and 80's shows, all people can do is just sit and wait and hope that one day'll they'll get cable homes or appear on a local syndicate. There are so many shows I want on DVD I'm sure it will put me in financial ruins, lol.

It seems like a lot of 80's shows are being screwed with. You have TVLand which caters mostlyv50's, 60's, and 70's shows, you have N@N and TBS which cater really late 80's and now, 90's shows, an then you have the late 90's and the current sitcoms running in syndication.
