I have always wondered the following:
1. What does it mean for a sitcom to be cheesy?
2. What does it mean for a sitcom to be corny?

I think a cheesy sitcom is one that's just so sickingly sweet that your teeth actually hurt just from watching it, like Full House and The Brady Bunch.
I think a corny sitcom is one that relies way too much on slapstick and unrealistic humor, like Three's Company and Beverley Hillbillies.
Just my opinion :D

Cheesy = moralistic, sappy, overdramatic
Corny = cliched, tries too hard to be funny
