"Great Women of Television Comedy," an NBC TV special presented by The Museum of Television & Radio on April 15 from 8:30 to 9:30 pm EP.
The show -- honoring some of the greatest comediennes in TV history -- is the latest in the museum's series of annual specials showcasing great moments in TV history. It will feature clips from more than 50 classic TV comedies as well as interviews with many of the women who have made American audiences last over the past five decades -- including Bea Arthur, Carol Burnett, Jane Kaczmarek, Penny Marshall, Mary Tyler Moore and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Agreed... are they going to do older shows, like I Love Lucy, Burns and Allen, and Imogene Coca?

Several years ago (I don't know which network) did a similar show called TVs Funniest Women. I have it on tape. It was very good and they really tried to get them all included! It was done before an audience of the funny women stars. It was hosted by Marlo Thomas, Candice Bergin, Mary Tyler Moore and a lot of others but right now I can't recall who they were. They showed clips from each woman's series and then showed the stars in the audience.
I hope this will be as well done as that one was!;)

I liked what I saw of it. They showed some pretty funny clips - although I wish they'd shown a few other people.
