What's your opinion on any of the new sitcom pilots being considered for fall?

None really grab my interest this season. Last year I was rooting for "Dexter Prep" from the creator of NewsRadio, but ABC ultimately passed on it.

Some of what i've read...

Tom Selleck as a baseball player (for nbc)---oooh, I wonder if this will be as great as "The Closer"?

Kelly Ripa as a washed up soap actress returning home with her twin sister Faith Ford (for abc--of course). I've always liked Faith, she was the main reason I ever watched "Murphy Brown." I can't stand Kelly Ripa, she's quickly following Kathie Lee's footsteps, IMO.

Heather Locklear as a single-mom (for nbc). My opinion: z-z-z-z-z-z.

Monica Potter as a divorced mom w/ Andy Richter as her lovable best friend in a romantic comedy pilot (for cbs) -- I like the casting of both of the leads, but if the show gets picked up it will probably resemble "Yes Dear" or "Still Standing"

Charlie Sheen pilot for CBS -- Spin City was cancelled for a good reason.

Jenny McCarthy as a looney heiress for ABC -- nobody watched this loudmouth in "Jenny," but on the brightside it's sounds better than that retro-themed pilot she did for Fox a couple years ago. I hate it when shows pretend to be an actual old series that was lost, when they are not.

Nice to see Jenny McCarthy still hasn't used up her fifteen minutes of fame. Maybe this one will put her back into obscurity for sure.

It's a shame that Andy Richter is going to waste his time on some lame comedy for CBS, where any non "family" sitcom is ignored.
They should have let him bring "Andy Ricther Controls The Universe" over to CBS. They could use something hip.

I really want to see the sitcom called The Snobs, mainly because it stars Greg German and Paget Brewster. I also would like to see Arrested Development because of Portia de Rossi. Lastly, I would like to see The Lunchbox Chronicles mainly because of Andy Richter.

Even though I am looking forward to see shows starring Andy Richter and Paget Brewster, I'd much rather see another season of ARCTU.

ZZZZZzzzzzzz They sound pretty boring to me. And I cannot believe someone gave Jenny Mccarthy a sitcom.
