LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - The good news: Paget Brewster may be on FOX in the fall. The bad news: It's looking less and less likely that she'll be on FOX as part of "Andy Richter Controls the Universe."

The actress has signed on to a lead role in FOX's comedy "The Snobs" (formerly "The Mallards" ), according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will star opposite Greg Germann ("Ally McBeal") as a blue-collar husband and wife who have an outsized sense of entitlement.

Brewster, whose other credits include "The Trouble with Normal" and "Love & Money," is the second "Richter" cast member to take a part in a pilot, which is usually a bad sign for their current shows. Star Andy Richter has signed on to "The Lunchbox Chronicles," a comedy at CBS.

This is really sad news that the chances of Andy coming back are less and less. I am happy however that she will be in a pilot with Greg German. If her show gets picked up I'll be sure to watch.

I've said this about Andy, and I'll say it for Paget Brewster. As talented as she is, I don't think she could find a better show to be in than "ARCTU". So it will be odd for me to watch her in another sitcom. (Although I'll give the show a chance, since she's in it.) I'm just saying that it feels like a step backwards for her.

Yeah, I agree with you. Right now I think the best roles for Paget and Andy are on ARCTU, but if they do another show I'll be sure to try it out. Another thing that might be a problem is that since ARCTU is such a great show we will always be comparing Paget's and Andy's new shows to the standards of ARCTU.
