Yeppers. And my bathroom was down the hall and to the right. It sucked taking a shower in a box, with a curtain that didn't quite close all the way. THEN have to walk down a huge hall in nothing but a robe.

There's a trick that I was told about. The best place to hide your money is behind the picture frames. You learn so many tips and tricks your first year it's amazing. But yea, no privacy at all. Your door is like basically open 24/7, but then that's the best way to meet people. Just knock on the door, introduce yourself and say your on the smae floor. Because everybody is basically in the same position as you. Also, don't take too much stuff because you might end up sending it back cause there's no room.

There are a lot of people who are just as scared as you and me there too. You just have to find them. Join some clubs or organizations that are calm and quiet and that may interest you an that way, you'll only need the dorm to sleep and clean up. Yeah. But I tell ya, it's a learning experience that everyone should go thru for at least the first year. Then if you don't like it, change. That's what I did. Hated my freshman year, so I came to a school closer to home. Now it's not so bad.

Like Chris said, longer breaks, shorter time in class, the freedom to skip...that's my fav. :D

Phone, sorry! Anyway, yea, I haven't experienced it yet like Cathy has, but in this one college prep class, that's all they talk about. Sending applications, applying for sholarships, dorm life, and we even ha guest speakers. I was actually luck I was informed because not many schools do that. Anyway, I bettergo, but knowing me, I'll be back. I'm trying to get this Trig homework done before Futurama, which is another 2 1/2 hours.
