Well folks, we're #8 for the night but with W&G being a rerun, I'd say it's not good that we're not holding all of that audience or adding to it with a first-run GM,M. In fact, the Friends re-run after GM,M did better and the 10:30 W&G re-run was about the same as the first-run GM,M.

Final word: A W&G, Frasier, Friends or some other NBC show re-run beating out or being equal to a new GM,M would lead me to think that NBC will be looking elsewhere for original programming and probably pretty soon. I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen it too many times with other shows and you have to feel NBC thinks this will be the case by not even showing an original GM,M during sweeps. (remember Stark Raving Mad with the Doogy Howser kid and that guy from Wings and The Mole?--same deal folks!)

Let's pray it gets better....and SOON as it may not have many chances left.

Good Morning Miami dropped to a 6.9, down from last week's 8.4. This was probably because of the presidential address which hurt many of the shows last night.

'fraid not Tootie. Look at the DATE I posted that. It's from last week. Futon Critic has no ratings for last night due to the president's speech. I don't know where you got the 8.4 from as GM,M hasn't been on for weeks unless you mean the last ep. aired a month ago.

I don't get my ratings from the Futon Critic. The 6.9 was last night's rating, and the 8.4 was last week's rating. That's what I was saying.

Oh, I see, you were talking about last week's being an 8.4 and I thought you were just looking at my post from last week and assumed it was last nights.

Futoncritic however did post the Thursday overnights very late this afternoon:

thursday's overnight ratings

1. "C.S.I." (SR, CBS) - 15.8/23
2. "Survivor: Amazon" (S, CBS) - 14.3/20
3. "NBC News Special" (NBC) - 11.1/16
4. "Without a Trace" (SR, CBS) - 10.9/19
5. "Friends" (SR, NBC, three episodes) - 10.7/15
6. "CBS News Special" (CBS) - 10.2/15
7. "ABC News Special" (ABC) - 9.0/12
8. "Good Morning, Miami" (S, NBC) - 7.5/12
9. "Primetime Thursday" (ABC) - 6.8/11
10. "Profiles From the Front Line" (S, ABC) - 4.9/7
11. "WWE Smackdown!" (UPN) - 4.3/6
12. "The Pulse" (FOX) - 4.0/5
13. "FOX News Special" (FOX) - 3.6/5
14. "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" (R, WB) - 3.5/5
15. "Family Affair" (WB) - 3.1/4
16. "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment" (R, WB, two episodes) - 2.7/4
17. "Diagnosis Murder" (R, PAX, two episodes) - 1.4/2
18. "It's a Miracle" (PAX) - 1.2/2

We're still around 8th place on the night and the overnight shows a 7.5 rating. But it's a quicker and probably less reliable sample so that 6.9 is probably dead-on for last night. It's funny that ratings are really applied ONLY to the 8-11 time period Mon-Sat and 7-11 on Sundays because Will and Grace didn't chart out on here since it ran at 11pm last night.
