Chad, I have a question for you. The Fresh Prince series is just about ending on both WB and TBS. WB is starting over from the pilot and airing them in sequential order. TBS is starting over too but their order is kinda choppy. I've heard different networks edit and air different versions of episodes. Which network do you think I should record from? I figured as a Carlton fan, you might know about this stuff :D

Knowing me ill probably love it. Everytime a show comes to Nick At Nite or TV Land Im detirmined to hate it, But end up liking it (INCLUDING Happy Days back in 95!) The only exceptions to this Are Mary Tyler Moore Show, All dramas but Batman, Superman and Macgyver, and Westerns.

Those are basically all of the ones that I can't stand. And the box set? I was getting all excited thinking "Hey, maybe I'll get to see a Ralph & Richie episode in the Box Set." But it's Gunsmoke, which I can't even bring myself to try to watch because everytime I've seen *part* of it I just don't like it.

I don't even think the Flyin Nun belongs in the Kitchen...it just sucks that much. I've never seen Gidget. Hey, if they play it two times a day it will be over sooner and we can have something else instead! :)

And what's up with the order in which they play the Brady Bunch? I don't watch it every single day, but it seems like they skip around *alot*.

And don't you find ABP a little depressing, Chad? It's not exactly a "happy" show.

Hows it depressing? Sure the episodes about Edith's Death are sad, But i think theirs alot of happy episodes too, Like how Archie's relationship with Stephanie had grown. On the last season of All In The Family he didnt care for her much, But in yeserdays ABP episodes when her Grandmother tried to get custody he really tried hard to keep her and won in the end. And Alot of times its just plain funny. So i dont really get what you mean by depressing :confused:

Yeah, that's true, he really did come to care for Stephanie quite a bit. And now, upon contemplation, it kind of seems that Archie gets to be more sensitive because at times he can more more introspective than the other guys at the bar.

I guess it's always depressed me because I've had difficulty imagining Archie without Edith, as well as Gloria and Mike. I mean, basically, his whole family is gone (and they're a family that America go to know so well).

I guess there's just some part of my brain that doesn't *want* Archie to be alone! But, then again, he has Stephanie.

Yeah, I think that people don't see it as a DIFFERENT show...(probably part of my problem!). I loved AITF, and it was hard to make that transition, but the more I watch it the more I like it.
