I'm sure everyone's heard about the fire which has claimed now
up to 96 lives at a Great White show in Rhode Island. 4th of July-type fireworks went out of control and had the club ablaze within minutes. Singer Jack Russell lost a guitarist and their soundman got torched...This is one of those horrible moments in rock and roll that ranks up their with Pearl Jam at Roskilde in Denmark, Iron Maiden and Guns N' Roses at Donington in England, AC/DC in Salt Lake City, and the Who in Cincinnatti... Great White isn't as huge as they were about 15 years ago, but they've had some great songs. It's just sad that so many people lost their lives trying to enjoy a show....:crying: There's just always a risk when you have pyrotechnics in a building that small.

So they never found their other band member? He died? The damn paper here didn't say.

That's really awful. I hear there's a lot of finger-pointing going on about this now. I smell a major lawsuit.....

Yeah, it's horrible. I live only about 30 minutes away from where it happened. I can't believe how many people died.
