I saw Bulworth. That was a funny flick. Warren Beatty was hilarious trying to be a cool hip politician & he was rapping hahahahahahaha. Don Cheadle & Isaiah Washington were also in this. Don & Isaiah are both great black actors who don't get their props like they should. I read in the Enquirer that Halle & Warren are seeing each other behind their spouses backs. There is a picture of Halle & Warren kissing each other on the front of the Enquirer. This happened not too long ago. I usually don't believe what the Enquirer says but if they have a picture of it, it must be true. Halle's husband Eric Benet got issues. He's got a sex problem & he's cheated on Halle before. Halle told him to go seek help for his sex problem cause she told him if he didn't that they were gonna get a divorce. I heard this on the radio. How could he cheat on Halle? Halle is so beautiful, if i were her man she would never have to worry about me cheating on her.

Plot Summary for
Bulworth (1998)

Page 11 of 33

A mix of hip-hop and politics, after putting a hit out on himself Senator Bulworth becomes a rapping politician that isn't afraid to say anything he wants and offend anyone he wants to.

Summary written by Guy Johns

Senator Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty) has become completely disillusioned with all of the lying, cheating, and money-grubbing aspects of politics, so he hires a contract out on his own life. He decides that before he is killed, however, that he is going to ruin his reputation and alert people to the shabbery of politics by delivering racist and hate-filled speeches to the public...that is, until he falls in love with a black woman (Halle Berry.)

Summary written by Laurence Mixson

Bulworth is a Democratic Senator running for re-election in Calfornia in 1996. Depressed by cashing in on the right wing trend in politics at the expense of his beliefs, he orders a hit on himself after having taken out a huge life insurance policy. His imminent death allows him to speak out in a brutally honest manner that is true to his old liberal, and even socialist, beliefs. He does so in the form of rap music discovered after having fallen in love with a black woman from South Central Los Angeles.

Summary written by Daniel Mongraw {culture_jam@hotmail.com}

After taking out a massive life insurance policy on himself and hiring a hit man, Democratic Sen. Bulworth decides to have some fun and tell the truth as he sees it in rap rhythm and with lots of F-words. Then he decides he doesn't want to die, and intermixes being late for campaign events, giving interviews which lambast the right-wing media conspiracy for failing to promote "that's right, socialism," and chasing a skirt, with trying to un-hire the Mafia boss in charge of his murder. All the while proving: white guys can be cool, too, in a geeky sort of way, and even gangstas respect caring.
