Continuity Error in Tonight's LITB on TV Land

Tonight, TV Land reran the third season episode "Beaver's Monkey", and I heard a statement from Beaver that surprised me because of what happened in a later episode. The Cleavers were trying to comfort Beaver's sick monkey by staying with him, and Beaver said something about how it was good to stay with him "...the way you stayed with me when I had my tonsils out...". I was surprised by Beaver saying this, because the fourth season episode "Beaver's Tonsils" was all about Beaver's worry about having his tonsils removed. Did they grow back over the summer? :)

While we were watching the monkey episode last night, my daughter mentioned the same thing regarding the tonsils!

I did notice that too but I seem to recall that in the tonsil episode it turned out that Beaver did not need them removed.

Yes, he thougt they had to come out but then in the end was dissappointed when they didn't have too. So he never did have them removed.
