I don't see this

Okay, I wanna do a comparison thread because I seriously don't see this. I was watching a bit of that "We Love the 80s" on VH1 today and they were talking about Rick Astley. Anybody remember him? I think he had 2 big hits in America (Never Gonna Give You Up & Together Forever) and somebody said that Rick looked like Wally Cleaver. I'm sorry, I just don't see that. All of you know how Wally looks, so I'll just find a pic of Rick and post it.

Anybody think he looks like Wally? I just don't think he looks all that much like Tony Dow.

I saw that too, I thought it was pretty funny. No, they don't look exactly alike, but it was supposed to be kinda a joke, because everyone was expecting him to be this big black R&B guy, not this white, clean-cut man. They do sorta have the same kinda hairstyle going.;)

In fact they called him "Wally Beaver" which I thought was totally weird. And Rick Astley looked nothing like him.

:lol: Yeah, the only thing that really looks the same is the hair style. Whavever happened to Rick? I haven't heard any songs out of him in a long time.

Maybe a little but Wally is a lot cuter. If I remember right that Rick Astley guy had reddish hair. You can't really tell from that pic but I remember seeing his videos when I was a teenager and his hair was a reddish brown.

Lol, well, the only thing that looks the same is there hair! I really don't remember that guy, but I have definitely heard those songs before. I was in diapers or in pre-school in the 80's so I didn't really listen to music on the radio or watch any MTV.
