Out of these shows, which do you consider to be one series? All of the spin-off's are more of a continuation to the first show with some changes. That's why I was wondering.
-All in the Family (1971-1979)
Archie Bunker's Place (1979-1983)
Still has Archie, Stephanie and for one season, Edith. It
focused more at the bar, but still showed the home. I consider
AITF and ABP to be the same show.
-The Andy Griffith Show (1960-1968)
Mayberry R.F.D. (1968-1971)
MRFD was still in Mayberry, and for a little while, Andy made
guest appearances. If TAGS did not have Andy Griffith's name in
the title, both shows would have been one, just with Griffith
replaced by Ken Berry.
-Three's Company (1977-1984)
Three's a Crowd (1984-1985)
TAC was just TC without Janet, Terri, Larry and Furley. No, it
was not as good without them, but I think of the two shows
together.
-The Golden Girls (1985-1992)
The Golden Palace (1992-1993)
Although the dynamics was off without Bea Arthur there, it's
pretty much the same show with a different setting, therefore
the same show.
-Saved by the Bell (1989-1993)
SBTB: The New Class (1993-2000)
The New Class was still set in Bayside High, and I think it would
go good in syndication along with the original series, minus The
College Years and Miss Bliss.
What do you all think?
