I taped the tenth anniversary special of Nick at Nite, back in 1995. I got the tape out and watched a half hour program they aired of all their best promos. There was one promo in the late 1980's that had a family sitting on their couch watching tv. The kids were disapointed. The dad said, "Network sitcoms sure do smell the second time around." And then they turned to Nick at Nite. They were happy. It's funny but the one time "Smelly Network Reruns" are what's on Nick at Nite now.

It's not the shows that bother me, it's them being on Nick at Nite. If I want to watch "Modern Classics" I'll turn to TBS. Okay, that's enough of me going on about Nick at Nite. Thanks for reading.

Those are my sentiments exactly. I guess we'll just have to get used to the Modern Hits on Nick at Nite from now on. I wonder though, would Nick at Nite still have classics if TV Land had never been "born" back in 1996... hmm. Something to think about, LOL.

That is a pretty interesting question. It kind of makes me sick if they didn't have TVL and they modernized the station still. TVL might have it's periods where the lineup sucks, but at least it isn't really and truly that bad.
