I think Hilary Duff Sings the "Lizzie" Theme

I went to IMDB.COM and it said under things she's done....lyricist was by Lizzie McGuire: LIKE THIS::

I don't think so. "Santa Claus Lane," and "I Can't Wait" sound NOTHING like the theme to "Lizzie McGuire."

But, they might have used some kind of voice machine...to change it..I mean..look at the facts

Disney is doing everything they can to promote her singing career. If she sang the theme song, they would have let us know it.

Besides, as people have pointed out, it doesn't SOUND like her. I know they can doctor voices, but this would be WAY beyond that! Several people at the Lizzie McGuire guide (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-1229/) at TV Tome (tvtome.com), which I edit, have suggested it sounds like HALLIE TODD (Jo McGuire) singing it, but I don't think it really is. Although who knows? The singer of the theme song is the best-protected secret since D-Day! We've been trying to find out for nearly two years now and we still have no idea. The Lizzie McGuire soundtrack CD has the theme song listed by "E. Lurie," but I'm sure that's Elliot Lurie, the show's musical supervisor, and I'm sure that's a writing credit, not a performing one.

BTW, that IMDb credit is misleading, I think. I believe it was sent in by an overzealous fan. Hilary is credited with writing the lyrics to "I Can't Wait," the video of which has been shown on Disney promos during Lizzie, but it's never been a part of any episode, so I don't believe she deserves credit for writing for the show.

Yea.. the voice sounds WAY too old to be Hilary. It COULD be Hallie, at some points it does sound like her. But other than that..who knows!:crazy:

It's definitely not Hilary's voice. Hilary's voice is a little more.....flat than that. I do think it IS sung by Hallie Todd(Jo McGuire) because it DOES sound like her at a few points. Anyways, I personally don't really care for Hilary's singing voice, though I hafta admit "I Can't Wait" is pretty catchy.

I seriously doubt that Hillary Duff sings teh Lizzie Mcguire theme song cause I have listened to her other music and she sounds nothing like the voice!!!!!!!!
