Just came back from the cookie party! Nothing too eventful, except I mixed up the alcoholic and non alcoholic egg nog (only one glass before someone sniffed it and pointed out the difference). I have very low tolerance for alcohol so I was singing "If I had a million dollars, I would buy you a house" by the end of one glass. Luckily not too loud. Josh came in, saw me singing, sniffed the glass and took it away. Then he gave me some advil, but according to him, I insisted on having tylenol and he had to trick me into swallowing the advil. Lovely boy.

Ack! His kitty's run lose! I have to catch it!! To think that I have to keep this No Name Kitty till Christmas Eve! My dogs are afraid of it. sigh, It'll be a long day tomorrow...

Cat's wherabouts: last spotted underneath seeker's bed, ripping up seeker's Godfather poster. When seeker of cat became upset, cat shot out of bed and took off for basement. Seeker is very angry and wonders what cat puree would taste like.

This woman was wheeling her brat around in a shoppping cart at Price Chopper and we were going into one aisle to find spiced apple rings well the kid goes "Get out of the way!" I gave the kid a dirty look and I said "Teach your kid some manners" as I walked by. It worked cause she yelled at the kid for being rude.

I remember Ames went out of business 2 months ago, and me and my mother went there 9 days before it closed down for good. OMG.. the place was a crowded dump. So anyways, theres a group of kids (3 of them.. 4-7 years old). One of them is riding on this car thing.. he wouldnt move so I pushed him out of my way (in his car). Then, theres these 2 other kids about 14-16 tossing a ball back and forth. It went into the next aisle (which I was in) so I kicked it down the hall. ARGH! LOl.

I don't want to leave next year, I don't think I'd be able to take it....I'm one of those people who'd fight with and break off relations to all the people I know so that separation will be a little easier....I'm going to go and cry into my pillow soon....

Anyways, yea, I felt the EXACT same way about graduating. I was expecting to cry @ my graduation, sulk all summer, and get into a depressed mode once school started. And you know what? I didnt do ANY of the three. True, I miss school a LOT and would do it all over again in a heartbeat, but I like sleeping in, having free days and being a lil more independent. I finally realized why Id miss school so much-- I miss the MOMENTS that happened.. not school in general. I miss some of the teachers, but could care less about any of the students. Half of them pissed me off anyways! LOl. Although, I have the biggest urge to take a test. I want to be a lil challenged right now..Im not used to all this vacation time..

Ahh..Who all *LOVED* the Christmas eps? I thought the one with fonzie eating ravioli outta a can was touching..Very heart-warming ep. The one were everyone bought Joanie a tree was a funny and overall good episode..I loved it. The other X-mas ep was a HILARIOUS episode! Al was afraid the Christmas Lunitic was gonna break in! :lol: :D I didn't see "All I want for Chrismas" but I will on the 25th!

IRL, I was in the livingroom putting on music and Connor, my nephew kept knocking on the door, Well I ran to open it and I caught my leg on the door of the computer center, knocked it off the hinges, banged my leg above the knee, and then promptly landed on the floor. When I was a kid, I had this musical Christmas Tree. It would spin and play music, and it was very sweet. But then it broke because 5 yr old me was not very good with toys. And for my present from Josh, I got a musical Christmas tree! I told him about my broken tree two years ago and it was sweet that he remembered.....:heart:

My niece and nephew walked down to Mobil to get Cigarettes and I went along for the walk. My Dad tried to watch him this morning, but I persuaded him not to. I find that guy's obsession with his "leg lamp" WAY too eerie! The dad, mom, and little brother are all a bit off if you ask me. I think the boy who wants the BB gun is adorable though! He's like the only one I like.


Oh this morning was crazy! I finally went to sleep at 3am and my dad woke me up at 7am. I was like, "What is wrong with you? This is the only morning where I actually get to sleep in!" And he said, "we have to unwrap gifts". I told him that he was no longer a little kid, and that the "Christmas morning" excitement should have worn off by his age. OK, when I get only 4 hours of sleep I can be a bit grumpy until I'm fully awake! *LOL* We did all get up and unwrap gifts, then my mother went to my grandmother's to prepare Christmas dinner (everyone meets there), and I went back to sleep.

I got a bike, a new keyboard for my computer, a lot of clothes, lotions and stuff from Bath & Body Works and Victoria Secrets, this beautiful antique-looking cloth doll with red hair (I collect dolls with red hair), and money.

I guess that's good advice but I'm WAY to shy to get new friends. I'm afraid of my own shadow. PLUS that's really the only mean thing they do to me.I should probably try talking to them about it (like telling the to cut it out) first before I just end the friendship. About the whole "shynesss" thing, let me just say that you usually just grow out of it. I know as a kid, I was probably one of the shyest people ever. I was too obsessed with how others perceived me. I continued this until college, when I finally just stopped caring what everyone thought of me. I, for one, was one of those people all wrapped up in how people perceived me. I thought everyone had these "expectations" for me to be a certain way, adults always commented on my "role-model" like behavior that I was too afraid and break loose and just be a kid. I always was afraid if people saw the "real me" they would think I wasn't cool. Eventually, I saw what I was missing out on-- FUN. Granted, I'm still predominantly shy, but so much more outgoing. Working with so many people of different backgrounds, really changes your perception of the world also. You start to realize that everyone is special in his/her own unique way. Shyness also reflects how you think of yourself. If you have low self esteem, you have less confidence, and are afraid to encounter people because you're worried over how they perceive you. For me, I always thought I was peculiar because I had red hair. No one else had it and it just humiliated me! As I grew up, I realized it wasn't as bad as it was good. And any other bad thing about me just seemed to fade away as I realized that those things really weren't as bad as I feared they were. The same is true in any person. Normally, we're our own worst critics.

That's good advice but it's easier said than done. I have a difference about me that used to get laughed at and questioned by kids at school. I won't get into that because I might bore everyone to tears with the explanation.

well when I was in school I was totally ugly I"m a TOTAL case of the ugly duckling turning into the swan PLUS I liked things that NO ONE LIKED (like for instance the New Kids on the block were VERY popular everywhere else BUT not in my school well I liked them and WELL I got teased for it hehe not to worry I DONT like them NOW but thats not the point hehe) so I got teased mercilessly for it I was NOT popular at all THE other problem was everyone at my school did drugs and I DIDNT so because of all that I have very low self esteem I seriously dont think I'm AS pretty as you all say I am but thats just my thing
