LOL Omg i went to the barn today in a heavy long sleeve shirt, because it was FREEZING out side. Well, as the day went on i had to have a lesson on the pony I have.. well, it was so danged hot i thought i was going to DIE. it was horrible!! now my brother is coming home:rolleyes: from school, so my mother is going gaga over him. ITS SICK!! LOL, and now we are just waiting on them to come home so we can go out to dinner. and I HATE telemarketers! they talk too damn fast. argh, how was everyone's day??

Okay for any of you who don't know, I am a junior in high school and tonight, we just had personal college meetings with our guidance advisors and they'll basically tell us what type of college we are destined for. Okay, these things suck because I've noticed a lot of my friends upset about these things. The advisors do this in alphabetical order and they get really mean by the end, so it doesn't help that my last name starts with a V. But let me just say that I have never felt happier in my life!!!

I haven't seen my transcript as of yet, but I hope that it's okay. Well, it wasn't okay...IT WAS GREAT!!!!! I looked at it and I've gotten straight A's in every single class since eighth grade!!! And this is just wow! And I was sitting there with the advisor and she looked at my transcript and told me, "You're going Ivy League. There's no doubt about it, Harvard would die to accept you." I've been taking random activities since ninth grade too and she told me that I'm going somewhere great cause my extracurriculars are super! And my dad is an immigrant so the only college he heard of when he came to America was Harvard so this is like...his crowning glory moment. He was sitting there with me and his eyes just started to well up. And he was so happy! And he told me that he came to this country for me to have that better education and he's so proud of me. And I've never felt better in my life! I mean...Ivy League...wow! And the reason I'm putting this on the board is cause I didn't get to talk about it with my friends. I'm not friends with the smartest people, I do hang out with the "nerds" but my best friends are the artsy, theater types who only do well in English. And they're upset because this advisor's telling them that there is no way they're getting into a decent college. So how do you go up to someone who's been told that and tell them that you're Harvard material. And well, I'm human, I need to let all of this out, so i really hope you don't mind that I'm bragging and being all high and mighty, but this is just the most amazing moment! Do I want to go to Harvard...no....I've had my eyes set on Amherst and Columbia since the beginning of time. Is my dad upset..no, because he still heard that I'm Harvard material. And he told me that's all he needed to hear and if I want to go to Harvard, it's great. If I want to go to Amherst, it's great. If I want to go to Community College, he'd be upset, but it's still great.

Okay, there! I let it all out. I know that you're going to see me as a nerd who brags way too much, but I honestly don't care. This is one of the happiest moments in my life and I want to enjoy it for all it's worth!

So how do you go up to someone who's been told that and tell them that you're Harvard material.
What's wrong with that? Freinds share great news with each other. Different people, different news, Apples and oranges.
I have a friend who has done very well for himself in the past year in law enforcement. Many people are happy for him. I on the other hand have been working my regular (Boring) job while establishing my web business. With the ad market being soft it's been tough. My point? I am no less happy for my friend. He was worked hard to get where he is (as I'm sure you have)
so I am thrilled for his success. At the same time he encourages me with my site b/c he knows it is my dream. I am starting to have some success now too.
So give your freinds the news. You don't have to press them about where they are going to school. They may have other news they want to share. I'm sure they will be happy for you in any case.

As for telling my friends, well, I told one of my close friends except he was the wrong person to tell since he's mr.popularity. So I've been getting call after call from people with congratulations and I have to go and staple dear David's mouth shut.

And when I do become rich and successful (no if!) or rather when I become the Secretary General of the UN, I am still coming to the board!!! And I'm going to enjoy it! And if any news leaks to tabloids that I've technically gotten married to Potsie Webber, I'll know who told...hee hee.

Actually it's just my boyfriend, Josh, his father knows so many people at the UN. I'm not using him, I started dating him back in the beginning of eighth grade before I became very interested in the UN. I found out last year that he had connections. Made me very happy! Well, I'm going to retire for the night. Actually, I promised Josh I'd go to see the Ring with him. He's such a baby, he's too scared to see it himself. Well, where I live--in Campbell, CA--we don't get snow, but our house did lose power for nearly three days, because of a storm we had. Three power poles were destroyed in the rain, and I was on the news on Tuesday. I have the power back now, and I'm hoping there'll be no more storms anytime soon. Anyway, I just finished my finals for the semester at West Valley College, and I did some shopping today.

Hi, guys. I haven't written in so long, is because I've beem busy with my college work. In case you're wondering what else I have: I got plenty. In addition to all HD and L&S episodes, I also have the full series of "Family Ties", and 20 "Facts of Life" showings. Outside of sitcoms, baseball has been my no. 1 hobby since the mid '90's. My room is full of baseball books, videos, and memorabilia. It's so strong, I have scores for every game since 1969. I can get into the NFL, NHL, and NBA a bit, but baseball is tops. My favorite team is the Oakland A's.

OK, I have to tell my Christmas story. I'm not trying to brag on myself, but rather hoping to perhaps motivate someone else to do something nice for someone else this Christmas. Remember, while we may be having nice Christmases, others out there have nothing and really don't get to celebrate the Holidays.

Every year, I try to get into the Christmas spirit by giving Christmas to a child whose parents can't afford to. My mom is friends with local social workers, and they always have a list of extremely needy families with kids. Well, this year I knew that I wanted to choose a child, but didn't really care who I chose so I had Mom choose for me. The specifications I told her was that I wanted it to be a teenage boy this year. Why? Because everyone who does this always chooses the young children first. Then, girls usually get picked. Plus, having worked so much with teenage boys for the last several months, I felt qualified to know what they like. Well, Mom brought home the name of a 14 year old boy who happens to stay at another children's shelter in the area. I spent the last few weeks shopping and buying gifts for him. To me, it was just another routine tradition that I did. I bought him clothes, CDs, sports equipment, etc. Everything I thought a boy his age would enjoy. Well, I've been working so many hours this week, that I had Mom finish wrapping the stuff last night and deliver them to the social worker for me today, since I was too tired. I worked an overnight shift last night, so I spent much of today sleeping. Well, when I woke up I asked Mom if she had delivered the gifts. She said yes and went on to tell me more. The social worker exclaimed how thrilled she was that I had spent my time and money on this boy because everyone had worried that he wouldn't have anything this year. His sister had been put up for adoption, and the mother doesn't even have her own home, she is staying with an elderly lady. I have no idea where the father is. They said that Christmas was looking pretty bleak for him, until they saw all the gifts that were wrapped and waiting for him. When the social worker called the mother to tell her about it, she said his mom just broke down and cried. His mom had went everywhere searching for an organization to give him gifts, but they all had accepted their quota of children and couldn't do anything to help. She had given up hope for having a decent Christmas for him until the social worker called her today. After we heard how desolate the situation was for this family, Mom and I went and bought them a Christmas tree, decorations, a Christmas turkey and a couple bags of groceries. The social worker loaded everything in her car to take to them, and the car was stuffed full with stuff. To me, this is what Christmas is all about-- helping those less fortunate. Will the family ever know who did this? Nope. Will I receive any kind of credit for it? Nope. But, knowing that this child will have a nice Christmas was more than I could ever want.

So, this Christmas, as you hurriedly go through your Christmas tradions and shopping sprees, remember those who can't afford to celebrate Christmas. Show them kindness- even if all you can offer is a shoulder to cry on and an ear to talk to. And hopefully you'll find this Christmas as rewarding as I have.

Hey Sara! :) I am going to my grandmothers for christmas eve around 6 pm.. with cousins and such. I love it, its so much fun!! Its been tradition. Then christmas morning the first set of grandparents come around 7.. ARGH LOL I hate getting up early but i make an exception for christmas morning :) . Then around noon or so my other set of grandparents come, and then they stay for christmas dinner. So, its fun!! :) DONT GO SEE The hot Chick. It was the stupidest movie. I mean even adamn sandler kind of sucked as the weed dude! Mathew Lawrence was teh only thing worth watching LOL. I should have read the critics ratings before I wasted my money. Heck, E! ( The site I trust the most) gave it an F. LOL .. just to let you all know how bad that movie is!!

I am tired! I rode 4 horses today in the cold weather. ALL FOUR Of them were awful! LOL. I am seeing Two Weeks Notice tonight. I LOVE Sandy!! AHH! Shes hilarious. I didn't see it, oh well sounds like I didn't miss much. The Sims vacation isn't that great, i'll tell you that now. I have it and don't care for it. Unleashed is really good though.

I hope you feel better. Even if it's just a cold the best thing you can do is get a lot of rest. The more rest you get the better chance you have of making that trip. I'll be pulling for you!

I just came back from finishing mine. It's so crazy out there, I decided to just stay in tonight rather than stay on the roads and go anywhere.
My parents are goping to be surprised for sure. Usually I wind up buying cheap gifts b/c I run short of money but not this year. I made sure I was ready. I got my dad a zenith DVD player and my mom the complete third season VHS set of the Sopranos.
That was tough to find. I actualluy saw it a few weeks ago, but didn't buy it. I said "I'll get it when I buy the other gifts".
Great idea that was. I had to end up making a special trip make to the store I first saw it in!

Awww, thanks you guys! Seeing Potsie smile in the pic and in Happy Days last night really made me feel better!

I have a cookie party to go to today. The family makes over a hundred different types of cookies, so i'll be gone for a few hours and considerably chubbier when i return. I just got some more presents through the mail from relatives. Josh is back tonight and I will be getting my present from him. I went to get his present yesterday. He loves cats, but he can never get one because he has to pay for it himself and he has to worry about college funds, so he can never buy one. So I bought him a kitty cat!

It's a Honey Bear cat. For a kitten, it's pretty big. My dogs are having fun with it, chasing it around, getting chased and just playing. My mom's having a fit!
"You have to bring that cat in, can't you just put it in a box and stamp some holes in it!!"

She hates cats. :D

I love Christmas so much! Everyday I listen to holiday oldies..This christmas is gonna be the best! I love Decorating the tree....Having family over for dinner..all the food..What is there not to love about christmas?
