Hey, did anyone watch Conan just now? It was funny of course.. but BRUCE SPRINGSTEIN was on!! Im not the biggest fan, but yo know..MAX is in it! (Max is the drummer for Conan, but hes touring..). LOl.. he sang 2 songs. And, *gasp* OMG.. the 2nd one (A Christmas one) CONAN PLAYED THE GUITAR!! :faint: I knew he played.. but when he took of that jacket....:grineyes:. He also went to Santa University (theres a real on! LOl) and dressed up as Santa then went to Saks 5th Avenue. Ha.. and he was doing all the wrong things LOl. It was so funny! Oh, one thing I didnt understand though, was everytime Bruce was mentioned or after he sang.. people Boo'd. I dunno why! No ones every boo'd before.. maybe it was a GOOD thing? We are going to one of my aunt's house on Christas Eve. Christmas Eve is pretty fun and I have a small "Christmas Karoke" machine that I usually bring. Everyone gets a kick out of out it.
Probably b/c I do most of the singing, LOL. That machine was a find. I used to work as a recieving manager at this store and found it in the stockroom. I was told it was broken. So I checked it out ,basically did my best Fonzie impression (smacking the thing a couple of times) and brought it back to life! Maybe something was out of place inside the thing, who knows? They let me buy it for $5.00 instead of sending it to our clearance center. The original price :$150!

Okay, tonight the drama club ( which im in ) had our play. I played a character named Bookworm Joe ( what were you expected Ralph Malph?:lol: LOL!!!!!!!!!! I wish!!!!!!) He was a kid who was afraid to be tardy, OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! It was EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOVED ODING IT IT WAS SOOOOOO FUN!!!!!! It was a middle school version of Scrooge ( 7th and 8th grade )
And after the play, the kid who played my characters sidekick , Bobby Cratchit ( Ben Dgeani is who played him , hey we can be sidekicks too LOL:lol: :lol: :lol: ) . WEll his dad mentioned that he was a big Happy Days fan too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His fave is Ralph!!!!!!!!!!:D :lol: :lol: :lol: Sooooo fun!!!!!!!!

The original Star Wars! It can't be appreciated fully unless you saw in atheater in 1977. I was 6 and it blew me away. It doesn't seem look a big deal now but the effects and such were revolutionary for the time.

:) I shoulda rephrased that. He's funny but he's just not really a big favorite. Holy Grail is funny. Eric Idle is one of my favorite Python members. I loved him in Nuns On the Run. John Cleese is pretty good too. :) Young Frankenstein was cool. Actually, I forgot about Spaceballs, Mel Brooks was funny in that too.

I had a bad day and I need to vent. Now, as everyone knows, drugs are a big problem in all schools and no one's an exception. Well, I know...well..a lot of people who do drugs. Now, I was walking with one of my friend's to class today, and he said that he hadn't had a smoke in days (which is good for him). I asked him how he's managed to stay clean and he holds out his personal collection of drugs (won't specify what kind) and says that he just keeps it with him so he won't feel like he's running out or he won't be able to get any. Just as I tell him Good Job, Corky (our nickname for him, his name is Cornelius), the PRINCIPAL rounds the corner and...well, what he sees isn't too flattering for me. Two kids walking down one of the usually, most crowded hallways in the school, one has drugs in his hand and I was smiling at him as if approving his use of drugs. Well, needless to say we get rounded to the principal's office. I try desperately to explain to him that they're not my drugs, that he was just telling me he's clean, that he wasn't going to sell them, what have you. I'm in tears by the end of this. Meanwhile Corky's in another room trying to explain himself and trying to get me out of trouble. I'm getting a huge scolding cause I have never gotten in trouble at school (no detention, no suspension, no drugs, alcohol, cigarettes...etc). My father is called and he comes to school from office, and my dad has a huge job there and with the impending subway strike and all, he's not happy. Finally, he's given a choice to believe me or the principal. Well, I'm at home right now and not in the police office and that tells you who he believed. Well, I wish that things could have gone over more smoothly. Corky's been suspended and faces serious trouble with the police. I'm not defending him, but I know he's been clean, I've pushed him to be and now this suspension is on his record and with college aps next year, he can kiss the ivy's good bye. He's such a terrific student too, he was Harvard bound. He would have gotten in so easily. Now he can forget about his Harvard Princeton dreams and it's all my fault! If he just tried to defend himself instead of me, he'd still be ivy league bound. I just needed to get this all out and I trust you guys and your opinions. I just wish things could have turned out differently today, it's so scary to see how your life can change completely in just a few minutes.

Well, I wish that things could have gone over more smoothly. Corky's been suspended and faces serious trouble with the police. I'm not defending him, but I know he's been clean, I've pushed him to be and now this suspension is on his record and with college aps next year, he can kiss the ivy's good bye. He's such a terrific student too, he was Harvard bound. He would have gotten in so easily. Now he can forget about his Harvard Princeton dreams and it's all my fault! If he just tried to defend himself instead of me, he'd still be ivy league bound. I just needed to get this all out and I trust you guys and your opinions. I just wish things could have turned out differently today, it's so scary to see how your life can change completely in just a few minutes.

I am so sorry to hear about this. But he did the right thing to defend you. Whatever his reasons he had drugs with him. You shouldn't have to take any fall because of it.
It's sad because he sounds so bright, but when you use or even carry drugs you have to accept the risks. Your friend sounds like he accepeted that. No defense would have been adequete for him, especially when you are dealing with police and school officials.
His Ivy League dreams might be gone, but if he is as smart as you say, he will have a bright future nonetheless. This is just a bump in the road. Life is full of them.
It sounds like a cliche but he may come out of this a better person, realizing what the consequences are if he doesn't abandon drugs, carrying included. I wish him and you the best.

ahhh my exam was cancelled today.. i wish i could havejust gotten it over with :( . LOL But oh well .. i had to get up at 6 for nothing. i came home and went back to bed until 1 :X I was so tired. i havent gotten any sleep because of finals. LOL THANK GOD. My mom had the cookie exchange last night at her house for the church & bible study we are in. it was so cute!! LOL. People were like "man.. i didnt bring a big enough basket.. look at hers" I was like well when your mother takes you to these things when you are four years old.. you kinda get the hang of it at 20.
