Tonight was a Christmas episode which means there's an impending hiatus since Christmas episodes should air next week or possibly 2 weeks from now.

I think that this is one of 4 things:

1. They wanted to see if it fares better at 930 rather than 830

2. They may want it after Frasier because Kelsey Grammer is executive producer AND Jean Smart who was popular on Frasier is on In-Laws.

3. They could be making up for last week's episode, which was taken over by reruns of Frasier.

or...

4. They may want to air all of the remaining episodes to cancel it earlier.


I say that it's #2...
