About a month ago, I was griping (on this board) how Columbia/Tri-Star has gone almost a year without releasing second seasons of their current TV-to-DVD releases. According to www.tvshowsondvd.com it has been confirmed that SECOND season sets will be made available for "All In The Family", "The Jeffersons", "Sanford And Son", and "Mad About You". This is indeed great news for those (including myself) who have been waiting forever and a day to get a hold of the next installments.

However, "Larry Sanders Show" fans are sure to be disappointed as a 2nd season has NOT been announced by Columbia/Tri-Star. I'm guessing this is due to poor sales of the initial set which was released well over a year ago.

About a month ago, it was known that "Married...With Children" would be made available on DVD. However, as it stands, Columbia/Tri-Star will NOT be releasing the show in seasons sets (unfortunately). Instead they'll be releasing single-DVD greatest episodes compilations beginning with the first installment entitled "Married...With Children: The Most Outrageous Episodes, Volume 1". I suppose it's better than nothing, although I sincerely hoped full seasons would be made available.

According to www.tvshowsondvd.com "Frasier" will make its DVD debut in the form of season sets! As a huge fan of the show, I'm definitely looking forward to this. Now, if they could only give us full seasons of "Cheers" on DVD.

Also, fans of "The Osbournes" will be set to get a hold of the first season DVD set which has finally recieved a street date for March. Two sets will be released (censored & uncensored) containing all 10 episodes originally aired on MTV, PLUS 4 never-before-seen episodes. Among the special features, they have added an "Ozzy Translator" which sounds like a riot in itself!
