Movie Summary
This is one confusing movie. Phase IV (or "the ANT movie", as the Mads call it) is basically about a huge group of superintelligent ants (normal-sized, unlike the giant ants in "Them!" and "Empire of the Ants") who for unknown and unspecified reasons, organize with each other and attack a lab containing a pair of scientists and a young woman. The phases, I think, are the positioning of the sun and moon or something along those lines but whatever it is, it is driving the ants to destruction. The film ends with an incomprehensible ending which features the sole surviving scientist falling down a hole and seeing the woman emerge from the sand.

This episode has pretty fair riffing for a KTMA episode. It's not very good but it's also not very bad. This episode was aired after a five episode stretch of Gamera movies. The second host segment contains one of many barbs aimed atSandy Frank. (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?threadid=51758) The host segments are short and have somewhat wooden acting but that was pretty much the way most of the episodes were in the KTMA days.
