I think 8 simple Rules is a Great show and i hope it is on for many years to come.

My guess is that it'll run for 2-3 more years. It really depends on how they treat the series. A timeslot move in the future couple hurt it. It's up against basically no competition, so in this slot, it should run for those 3 years.

I bet it will stick around at least 6 seasons, I know it will. ABC is already planning on off-network syndication for it, that's why you don't see it being rerun on ABC Family Channel like Bonnie and Less Than Perfect.

I think it has a long life ahead of it, if it maintains the characters, and comedy, it might become very successfull in the years ahead.

I say 4 years max. Because the premise of the show will be flawed in a few years. Hence the title ."....dating my TEENAGED daughter". But it's a decent show and it's good that both John Ritter and Katey Segal can have post Three's Company/Married...With Children sucess.

8SR should go to syndication and it's probably going to last maybe 5 years.

I agree! I think every ABC show on Tuesday night with the exception of according to Jim is great. I just starting watching 8 simple rules about a month ago and I believe it's the freshest new show iv'e seen in a long time. I agree with PAV, unless something unheard of happens I see this show being on the air for quite some time. Of course a few years down the line they may have to change the name to 8 simple rules for dating my 20 year old daughter, but it will still be around awhile.

I like this show alot now it is one of my new favorite shows and I am also taping it too. I also think that it is a funny show too.
