Personally, I can't stand him, he's freakish and I can't stand to hear him talk. He should stay away from love scenes, it's sickening, IMO.

I don't know about a scandal, I haven't heard about that.
He was convicted of drunk driving in France, lost his license. did 2 months of jail time. I went to IMDB and found it there.
