View Full Version : Stupidest Scary Movie of All Time...
I just thought i would start another scary movie thread...
In your opinion, what is the absolute stupidest, sorriest excuse for a scary movie you have ever seen?
IMO, it's The Evil Dead. I saw it this weekend with my friend. Her boyfriend thinks it's great! It's AWFUL! It is NOT scarry, but it is DISGUSTING!!!!! I have never seen so much fake blood in my life! It's yucky! Has anyone else seen this movie? It's a B movie from 1983...about these 5 people that go to a cabin in the woods and they all get possessed by evil dead spirits and they all get posessed one at a time, and the ones who are still normal try to kill them...it's so gory and disgusting.

Either "The Children"- school bus full of kids passes through toxic cloud - or "He Knows You're Alone" - psycho stalks brides to be-. I never saw "The Evil Dead" though it sounds like something I'd watch.

This movie was my first experience with stupid horror movie...It really was funny despite the fact it was horribly gross. If you like to see a movie with LOTS of fake blood, this is the one for you!

The stupidest scary movie I've ever seen was Mosquito. It's about this killer mosquito that eats people alive. It sounds gross, but it is actually so stupid, it's funny. There was one scene where these hikers were in the woods and they heard this buzzing sound and they looked around in alarm. It was so stupid. I saw it with some friends about three years ago and we were all laughing our heads off.

I thought Creep Show was pretty stupid... anyone who's seen it? Stephen King with the grass growing all over the place.... g.d. it, Allison [this girl who doesn't even know who Avril Lavigne is] thought it was scary and we didn't get to see the whole thing... she made us watch X-Men.

When I saw Creepshow back in 1983, I thought it was pretty cool!! It kinda scared me... Maybe I wasn't so familiar with a lot of horror flicks back then. Now it would be pretty goofy... I liked the "Father's Day Present" and the monster in the crate...

I always thought the original Carrie was kind of stupid. My dad told me that when he saw it when it first came out, at the end when her hand comes up he broke his glasses because he went to cover his eyes  so I was expecting it to be scary and it was nothing. And I am horrible with scary movies, I refuse to watch a lot of them.

I'm actually mad at my brother for giving away the ending of "Carrie" before I even saw it. I HATE IT WHEN THEY GIVE AWAY MOVIE ENDINGS!!!! Or even important scenes in movies, like when my mother was about to tell my sister-in-law about a good part in "Schindler's List", when I complained about it she got all mad and told me to shut and get a life, blah blah...GEE, MOM, WHY RUIN IT FOR SOMEONE ELSE??
