I just thought I would share something I found over on the TVLand boards today:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Seasons 4-6 (the new House) did anyone ever notice the lamp post which shows to the left of the driveway in night transitional scenes, only shows up at night? The only 2 day scenes it appears in are episode 80 (when the Beav. starts takng the school bus) and in episode 195 (when the Cleavers are leaving for vacation). Otherwise, it's NOT there...a pretty glaring continuity error. But I could go on and on with picky errors in LITB.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I never noticed that before! I am going to have to watch for this!

I will have to look for that one...I like to discover continuity errors since
I work in the "Sitcom world".
........thanks.

I never noticed it either. It's kind of cool discovering these little misses that the writers didn't think a person would notice.

Missing Street Lampost...

I finally saw the episode when Beaver starts taking the bus.
It's true...the enitre family comes out of the house and
we do see that the street lamp post is definitely in
the shot looking screen left of their driveway...Good
catch on the continutity thing.

I will continue to look for tha lampost every oppurtunitynow.

Thanks for catching that.

I finally saw the episode where Beaver takes the bus. It's true
the "lampost" is right next to the driveway entrance at the
curb screen left. In the episodes "The Freckles" and "The
Fiance"... the night transitions shots do reveal the "lampost"
at the end of the driveway screen left as well.

Good catch on continuity
