Double Bed!?!

Is it me, or did i really see a double bed and Ward and June's bedroom. The by fact that they DO have a double/queen/king whatever kind of bed other than a twin is just sheer odd! at that time, all the couples had TWO twin beds! I thought that was very cool of the way they did NOT have two twin beds, only goes to show you how the boys came to be! :D Anyways, i just wnated to make sure that i REALLY did see that, and if i did, wow! what a leap! this show really did make a lot of "leaps" didn't it?

I remember seeing a double bed too, whenever they would briefly show their bedroom...BUT in the episode where Wally has a party (sorry I don't remember the ep title) which is in the last season, They have a rather long scene that takes place in Ward and June's bedroom...and you know what? There are twin beds then! June is sitting on her bed reading a magazine and Ward is sitting in a chair trying to adjust the television set in their bedroom. That's another thing...my grandparents would never have dreamed of having a tv in their bedroom back then!

BUMMER!!!!!!!!! Just when you think that they are normal and actually could "cuddle" in a single bed, they go and turn it into twin beds, ARGH! haha, but htat's awsome that we get to finally see their bedroom, i wonder if in the reunion movie (i heard there's a scene with wally and mary ellen in their parents bedroom where wally gets kinda... giddy, if you understand) they had twin beds or a double bed....

Okay, now that i saw the Twin beds, this may sound weird, how the heck would they have kids if they had separate twin beds? i mean, it'd be kinda... WEIRD! I don't wanna really go into detail with this, becuase it's somethign you don't really wanna think about with Ward and June, but seriously, don't you think i'd be less likely to have kids becuase of the whole twin beds thing, sorry, i'll shut up about the subject before i actually start talking about what i'm seriously thinking! okay! bye!

OMG SARAH!!!!! I was just about to post the exact same thing until I read your post!!!!!! :lol: I find it hilarious that in the 50s and early 60s they wouldn't allow couples on tv to have a double bed...only twin beds...yet all of these couples have kids??? Yeah...certain things are kinda obvious...Ok, I'd better shut up too...:D

The Party Spoiler aired today and yes, June is shown sitting on a single bed. However, I could have sworn they only showed one single bed. Leaving us to ponder, that perhaps June and Ward slept in a single bed. LOL.

actually, if you look when Wally (or was it Beaver) come out of hteir bedroom and talk to Ward (it was beaver) you can see into their bedroom and you can see the 2 twin beds against the wall! :)
