Here are the top 10 movies for this past weekend:

1. Jackass - $22.7 Million
2. The Ring - $18.8 million
3. Ghost Ship - $11.7 million
4. Sweet Home Alabama - $6.4 million
5. My Big Fat Greek Wedding - $6.3 million
6. Red Dragon - $4.7 million
7. Punch Drunk Love - $3.5 million
8. Jonah: A Veggie Tales Movie - $2.9 million
9. The Transporter - $2.8 million
10. Brown Sugar - $2.7 million

Thanks Brian. I read that My Big Fat Greek Wedding broke the money record for an independent film, previously held by The Blair Witch Project.
Greek Wedding was made for 5 million dollars and has grossed 141 million so far, and it's still going fairly strong. It's still at the first run theaters here in Boston.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson must be happy as this was their project. I'm sure they really needed the money too. :crazy:

You have got to be kidding me. That film is the most silly, obnoxious, insane, and unwatchable film of the year! Just give it Worst Film at the Razzie awards...it'll win anyways.
