They remade the Carrie movie from the 70's. Anyone going to watch it? It's on NBC November 4th, a week from Monday. I love Carrie, I thought the movie was good but did anyone like The Rage: Carrie 2?

I didn't watch Carrie 2 because it wasn't from Stephen King. I'll watch the remake of Carrie because I saw the remake of the Shining and actually enjoyed that. The previews look pretty good.

Just wanted to let you know the movie is going to be 3 hours. TV Guide seems to like the movie, and they usually have good taste so I hope it's good.

I knew I should have bumped this back up so people would remember it! Sorry.
Anyways this wasn't really a movie it was a pilot from what I read for a series on Carrie. Thats why she didn't die at the end. The movie/pilot was ok it had flaskbacks about what happen on prom night. The police were questioning the survivors from the prom what happen.

A pilot? You've got to be kidding me?!? It's one thing to make a remake, but totally another to create an entire series on it.

I'm not joking. I typed in Carrie (2002) (TV) to get a full recap of the movie but I read this was really a pilot. My mom and I wondered why Carrie didn't die. Sue took her to Florida to start a new life and to get her away from the police.

I agree. How are they gonna do this? Carrie runs into the same trouble in Florida and runs away and she travels from town to town trying to start a new life? Sounds kind of David Bannerish if you ask me.

Or better yet, she'll fight crime and solve mysteries. Boy that sounds like a winner doesn't it?
