Yeah, you are absolutely on target, but that is not the actress' real name, that is what the big Stein called her, messing up her name in Steinesque style.

'just so's I'm on the right track....
He/she was mentioned (but not shown) in an [non 5A] ep, then, 56 eps later, appeared in an ep.
Like if they were mentioned in 20 The Pen, they were actually in #76?
Hint Q/was it a Jer relative?
(re: Connie. The big tip is at one point, Connie was actually on that People's Beautiful People list, I'm almost positive. Also, the timing is right and it just fits. It's an educated assumtion, I always figured it was her and still do enough to call it so ;) )
sinatrastar
12-21-2003, 04:16 PM
You have the ground rules of the question right Maestro, nice to have you back by the way. They were mentioned, then mentioned again/shown 56 episodes later, and I don't think ever mentioned again or before.
It is not a relative. ;)
Maestro
12-22-2003, 03:14 PM
I know this one is wrong, because he was shown 42 eps apart, & not the required 56:
Mohandas Gandhi.
He was mentioned in 016 The Chinese Restaurant and then in 058 The Old Man, he was shown in a photograph to Elaine by Mrs Oliver, the goiter gal.
I'll go back to scouring.... I'll find it :)
(& btw-it's not so much that I'm back, my sched is getting normal (aka hectic) again so my PC screw around time is cut way back. Not so dilligent here as I was able but I'll keep looging on :D )

Well Maestro the sources seem to say different things about this question so it may be open to debate.
But sticking with what I think here is a clue:
The person who played the character when he was shown was connected to the production of the show.

I was looking for Who is Carl Farbman?
From The Checks, and previously The Hamptons. However, in looking at some scripts, they have the designer of the house in the Hamptons as Mark Farman, not Carl Farbman. (The baby doctor tells Elaine he was the person who designed the house). I had previously seen the name from the Hamptons episode as Carl Farbman, and that this was a definite episode link. I havent seen it in a while so I am not sure which is right. Let me know if you have any insights.
The actor who played Farbman when he was briefly shown in the Desperado's Ferrari was Dave Pierce who was supposedly the transportation coordinator for the show, hence my clue.

I saw the Farbman connection, but stood down because of the Mark/Carl varient and seemed to be unconnected....
