JERRY: Elaine, do you know what you've done? You've give hope to every woman who's ever said "Too bad he's gay".

Referenced the exact moment, & by all sources I found (still waiting on my newsgroup) they list it as "Hubert." You must admit, "Hubert" (Hue-bert ) & "Buford" can sound nearly the same.
Yes the scripts have many errors. I pulled it from memory, but I have looked it up the dog's name before so that swayed my call.
I'm into accuracy & you seem to know your shiznit, I think you may be right, but I was still surprised in our friendly little game that you played it that way.

What is Battleship?" is correct sinatrastar... yours.
175 The Maid.
Remember, he made her do the blow up noise when he sunk her ship:
J: So the kid doesn't know his grandmother is dead? G-5?
E: Hit. No. I guess his parents didn't want to tell him. B-2?
J: Miss.
E: He called 6 times yesterday. What a nightmare it must be to have a real family.
J: I wouldn't worry about it. B-6?
E: Hit. Uhh...you sank my submarine.
JERRY: Elaine...
[E makes the obligitory explosion sound. J nods in approval. The phone rings and J answers.]

A basic from 166 The Strike as the Queeen Of Confrontation busts out her standard fake.

I'm rackin' my dome...
can you tell me if this "illicit figure" is a person... I assume not.
sinatrastar
11-11-2003, 05:10 PM
This 'illicit figure' is a person. Illicit figure is my subjective description, another description could be 'rude thief'.
sinatrastar
11-13-2003, 10:09 AM
Soviet writer may be more accurate than Russian writer.
Maestro
11-13-2003, 01:02 PM
I can think of 2, but I couldn't connect them with this "question."
For lack of a better one, I'll say:
Who is Yuri Testikov (sp?)?
sinatrastar
11-13-2003, 01:49 PM
Not Yuri, who else do you have?
sinatrastar
11-13-2003, 01:55 PM
Clarification: the 'illicit figure' is a character, the writer is the real-McCoy.
Maestro
11-13-2003, 02:13 PM
Who is Tolstoy?
EDIT: opps... I see that ain't it either, I need the SeinCharacter....
sinatrastar
11-13-2003, 02:21 PM
The answer only calls for the question to identify the character, but if you get one, you will most certainly get the other.
Im glad this is a hard one, yet I think its valid SeinTrivia, its not one which is completely arcane like what is the color of the third car that goes by Kramer when he is pulling Newman in the rikshaw  Anytime you can use the dialogue to form a stumper I think your getting somewhere.
Maestro
11-13-2003, 02:22 PM
 Exactly! Beautiful way to play!
(& apparently, Tolstoy isn't the real writter reffered to)
