This is our first review and summary discussion on an episode. So Let's get started.
The 5th season opener begin with Graces waking up from the pole which she hit. Apparently she thought someone hit her. But the man on the horse, Leo let her know that she actually hit a lamp pole. At that point Leo rode his horse to the sperm bank to drop off Grace so she could make her appointment.
Later Grace and Leo run into eachother at the restaurant that the whole Will and Grace gang go to frequently. Grace thinks is it fate but Leo tells her its because his office is across the street. At this point the audience knows Grace has the hots for Leo but won't go for it because of the whole insemination thing.
Later Leo shows up at Will and Grace's to drop of Grace's wallet she had for gotten at the restaurant and Will admits to Grace that he went to a gay club and met a guy he liked. And they both decided together they will not date until after the whole baby thing is over.
My grade for this episode:B Not the funniest episode but pretty good.

Just a side note: I wanted to let you all know that Will and Grace did very well on their premeire. The beat out CSI in the 18-49 year old demographic. Not in total viewers unfortunatley. They were also the number 4 show of the night. Here's how all the shows ranked last night:
1:Friends
2:CSI
3:ER
4:Will and Grace
5:Scrubs Also note: that Will and Grace only beat out Scrubs by very few viewers. So Scrubs will do well this season.
6:Survivor

The interesting thing is that Will and Grace really only started becoming popular once it was moved to Tuesday, Thursday night. I'm a fan of the show from the beginning but those first few episodes did not do well in the ratings. Thank God NBC didn't cancell the show.

Got a chance to look at the season premiere today...
It was pretty good. Not a big fan of Harry Connick, but he seems to be holding his own.
Really toned down Jack's presence in this episode, although his popping up in Karen's bed was the laugh of the show.
My question to the W&G fans is in regards to Karen. I really think the scenes with her and Rip Torn (who by the way, is one of my all time favorites) were great, and I really think it would be better for the show if she started dating. Anyone agree?
Well, if the little cliffhanger with Stan returning to find Karen waiting for another man was any indication, I just might get my wish...

The little cliffhanger at the end of the episode does make it look as if Stan broke out of prison because he obviously didn't serve his time yet.

Good point. There's no way he's out on parole.

That and Karen's singing of "I'm coming out" and then looking down at her boobs and saying, "OOOOOH, I really am coming out!" Great stuff! It was a great season opener; one of their best openers.

I have another question about the season premiere...
At the end of last season, Jack was in way over his head at an audition,(a very good scene, by the way) and realized that he really didn't have much talent as an actor.
But, in the season opener, we see Jack heading for an audition, and he also mentions his acting class.
What gives? I thought he was going to give up showbiz and move on?

We had a W&G discussion in history, lol...Anyway, I thought the opener was awesome....very funny, and Harry Connick Jr. did well.

We are talking about Jack. I just think he realized that he needs to try to get a real job. It doesn't mean he will still give up something he likes to do.

Good point it is Jack after all. He won't just stop doing something because someone tells him he's bad at it. Also a little spoiler, it may or may not be true, but I think I heard Jack will be teaching an acting class this season.
