Ok I know there are a lot of Beatles fans here besides me. So I thought I would post this poll to see who is the most popular Beatle.
When I was 14 I had a huge crush on George.
I then switched to John when I got a little older. But having read a lot about him I have decided that he was a dork.(Sorry Classic T V Man!)
Now I am convinced that Paul is the most talented and he seems to be very well grounded.
I like Ringo too.
But I do prefer George's songs and singing over the others!:)

I think it's between John and Paul, I like both their styles of music and both of their solo songs but I don't know which one is best.

I like Paul McCartney but I also like John Lennon. Lennon didn't get as much attention as Paul did.

Paul McCartney is a great singer and he was real cute in the early 60's.

I really don't have a favourite, I voted for Paul only because he sings my favourite song of theirs, Yesterday.

For me it was a toss-up between John and George, but I think now it would be George because he was the more "spiritual" Beatle. John Lennon seemed too bitter and cruel in a lot of ways. He was very miserable for a lot of reasons. I understand John saying that "[The Beatles] were a lot more popular than Jesus" was more of a comment about the irony of a rock band like themselves being more popular than the central figure in history,
but he was talking about the popularity of Jesus in England in the mid-60's. John Lennon was very interesting but in a lot of ways disappointing to read about. At least George Harrison approached his death with a sense of peace and acceptance due to his beliefs. Even though I'm not a big fan of songs like "My Sweet Lord", I always thought it sounded depressing for a plagiarized song. But other than that, he was a good musician and kind person.

I have always seemed to prefer Ringo. Maybe it's because his voice sounded so different from everyone else in the group. That, and because he was one of the Beatles that always seemed to be in the background, much like George. Also, he played my favorite instrument, the drums.:)
