The Louie Show wasn't given enough time in my opinion. It aired on CBS in the mid 90's and I taped all of the episodes, albeit there were only a handful, it was a show that had great potential. The show had a good group of actors including the man who plays the father in Malcolm in the Middle (Bryan Cranston). For those who don't remember it, it took place in Duluth, Minnesota and the premise was that Louie Lundgren (played by Louie Anderson), needs some extra money and decides to look for a renter for an extra room in his home. His unlikely renter is a woman new to the area from California named Gretchen Lafayette. His best friend Curt, a cop, also ends up moving in with him because of troubles with his wife. Louie is a psychiatrist and had some funny episodes like the one where Louie becomes a gambling addict after chewing out a patient for being one. It was overall a very funny show. Too bad no one gave it a good opportunity.
