What do you think of her?


I thinks she's very talented. She's not what most people think she is. There are many people that think she's just another Britney or whatever. But shes not...I mean....she's a true artist...there arent too many people out there who can write the lyrics to their songs, write the music, produce their albums, play the guitar and harmonica, and bellydance. She's released 5 spanish albums and 1 english album. She speaks Spanish, Portuguese, English, I believe she peaks Arabic and she's learning Italian. Okay...u kno wut...i'm rambling now...so imma shut up now...lets just say that I appreciate what Shakira has brought to the music industry...

She's more like Alanis Morissette but easier on the eyes. And Donde Estan las Ladrones? was one of the best albums of the 90s.

Britney Spears is a rank amateur compared to Shakira.

Shakira is very talented. She does write her own songs which just is a bonus. Most musicians use song writers to come up with the hits, which anybody can buy a song from a song writer. It takes true talent to write good lyrics and have a beautiful singing voice.

I like her, she is pretty talented, she has a great voice and writes her own songs. She doesn't bother me like the other pop people, I like Objection (Tango), Underneath your clothes, and some of her spanish songs are good.

Shakira is one of my favorite singers ever. Most likely number 2 or 3. She is wonderful! I throughly enjoyed her performance at the VMA's. Like Tara said on the TD board, she really brought out the culture of Hispanics. Great singer

most people just listen to her english cd(not directed towards anyone on the boards cuz people said they've listened to them), but her spanish cds are so dope...although I cant sing it...I attempt too lol...but she is very talented when it comes to her voice and writting her own music~:)

Same here, but I want her cd. No, in dance class we would warm up to her so I've heard more. NEwayz, she's really good. My cuz's and I went up and down the boardwalk at the beach singing Whenever Wherever, we were really loud at the most suggestive lines, we scrieched the line, "Lucky that my breasts are small and humble so you don't confuse them, with mountains" ROTFLMAO. I luv that song
