how bad was the spinoff "checking in" with marla gibbs that debuted in 1981 when florence took a job as a executive housekeeper at a hotel? It only lasted 4 episodes and she returned back to the jeffersons

I remember seeing the pilot and thinking it wasn't too bad. I think it was more of the writers not wanting to lose Marla Gibbs from the Jeffersons, than her own show being all that bad. I really don't think the show had a chance to suceed or fail after only 4 eps.
