did anyone ever see a show monty it had henry winkler and david schwimmer in it. i know ive heard of it before but ive never seen it.

I remember this show...It wasn't very good.

Winkler tried his best to be like Rush Limbaugh and the show within a show was full of him making fun of the liberal left; most of the jokes were not very funny, Limbaugh in real life had better joke writers.

The "home life" side of the show was worse. Shwimmer played the son who went against his father's wishes and wanted to become a chef, and his girlfriend, played by Chyner Kantner (who had just made the leap to TV after a stint as an MTV Veejay) was a "free spirit" hippie chick who constanty argued with Monty about politics and whatnot.

I guess they were shooting for a 90's remake of "All In The Family," with Winkler being the loveable loudmouth. But the trouble was that Winkler's character wasn't loveable, he just yelled about liberals and Democrats. Not funny.
