Does anybody have any episodes of "The Muppet Show",
the "Sesame Street" spin-off?

Thanks,

Archie and Edith

PS write Back Soon. Bye.

Also, was "The Muppet Show" the only "Sesame Street"
spin-off?

I really wouldn't say that The Muppet Show was a spinoff of Sesame Street. It was more like what Hello Larry was to Diff'rent Strokes.

There are a couple of spinoffs of Sesame Street, I forget their names at the moment, but they both air on the Noggin channel.

Not a spin-off at all.

Except for Kermit, there was little, if any, overlap of muppet characters between the two shows. And Kermit was already quite famous before Sesame Street .

I suppose if someone wants to insist that The Muppet Show is a spin-off of Sesame Street, then you might as well say the Sesame Street is a spin-off of Sam and Friends, where it all began for the muppets back in the mid-1950s.

As far as actual spin-offs, I can't think of any. Possibly The Electric Company, also produced by the Children's Television Workshop, although I think it was less a spin-off than it was an imitation aimed at an older audience.

I remember one of the spinoffs was called "Play with me Sesame." It featured various muppets on the show playing educational games. There was another spinoff that featured just the spanish family on Sesame Street that would sing songs and play games in spanish. I forgot the name though.

One other spinoff I just found is called, "Sesame Too."
