Cool so far. I am a fan of Welcome Back Kotter, my dad said I would probably like Perfect Strangers. Hate to see Dennis go, but am glad I'm taping it now. I am eager for the latest updates. Thanks again, pavanbadal!

Like I said, stay tuned for the full August schedule. It's gone from the Kitschen lineup, but that doesn't mean it is gone yet. It could air weekdays. Just stay tuned...

Yea! I hope MH2, Dennis, and Monkees are staying. Maybe MH2 will be on in the afternoons? I'm so glad that Perfect Strangers, Welcome Back Kotter, and Square Pegs are coming! Tho Perfect Strangers is kinda new (ending in 1986), WBK and SP are classic enough!

No more Monkees? =( That's terrible. I sure do hope that they just give them a better time slot. If they don't, I'll watch Tv Land even less. I'm down to Gidget and the Monkees and Dick van Dyke--every now and then Gilligan and Happy Days. Rarely those 2.

I hope this doesn't become a regular thing with TV Land by showing about a quarter of the episodes, dropping the show, adding another and doing the same thing.

Any new news on Archie Bunker's Place?

Ask Morty says that Archie Bunker's Place starts on Tv Land in August. I agree. It's ridiculous to show a few episodes and then stop. Utterly ridiculous. I am VERY disappointed.:( :o  :crying: :crying: :crying: :livid: :bash: :bash: :smash:

Well, like Pavan said, he only had a FEW details. I had a feeling the Kitschen lineup would change. And they're probably only keep Fernwood 2Night because Martin Mull and Fred Willard host the Kitschen as well as they hosted Fernwood 2Night.
I would hate it too if this became a recurring thing, adding shows for a few months, then dropping them, but apparently TVLand has done this before (Chico and the Man for one, My Favorite Martian). I really can see this new August lineup as being the best one yet, if they keep a lot of their shows. I am thinking that Twice as Nice will change also (besides FKB, which I'm glad is coming, but sad it's replacing Dennis, good thing I taped it).
Maybe Dennis will go to Better Living Through Television? Hmmm... I think TVLand will keep most of the new shows with the even newer shows, but are just trying to give the new/new shows more "exposure" in different time slots to see what works?

Possibly after the 24 episodes of "Square Pegs: (2 episodes a week that's sure to go quickly!) they'll get back to MH,MH because if not that'll just be boring to watch an episode one night and the same episode a couple weeks later!

Since TV Land has changed the July schedule, efftecive July 8th, I'm not sure Father Knows Best will remain at 3 and 3:30 starting July 29th...I'll know by tomorrow or Monday, along with the rest of the August schedule.

Woo hoo, LOL. Can't wait to see the new schedule, of course, it could change between now and August... Anyway, a few of the changes look good. I do, and I don't, like constant changes in schedules, you know, but I guess TVLand likes to move things around to see what works where best. I just hope they keep Happy Days at 5:00pm, or a show I don't regularly watch because of FOL coming to Hallmark! LOL.

It's not rumors. TV Land has it, they are just a network who likes to change schedules. Expect this show to finally air either in Sept or Oct. An episode was already shown in Feb 2002 in a Box Set.
So that means Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman is actually gone? TVLand, you should be ashamed of yourselves! How dare they?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! No more Mary Hartman.........god..........no more Dennis either? I might just call TVLand and strangle them. Why would they do that? They should know how to handle a soap opera. You can't just take it off the network without telling us how it ends. That just sucks.:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Yeah, I'm guessing they can only show the first 36 or so, like the other Screen Gems shows. I think the reason is they don't have digital video copies of those yet. One episode is airing of MH2 on August 23rd at 11:30pm, but that's a rerun, I think episode 1 will air.

Updates:
Sunday August 4th Box Set episodes:
3:00PM Dennis The Menace #33 "Out of Retirement"
Frank Cramer, Mr. Wilson's old boss, asks him to break his retirement and take over the company's Pittsburgh office.
3:30PM Dennis The Menace #113 "Poor Mr. Wilson"
4:00PM The Jeffersons #4 "Lionel the Playboy"
Lionel's new wealthy lifestyle begins to have an effect on him and a carefree attitude begins to be seen by his family. He stays out all night every night and cuts class. This leads to him debating on whether or not to drop out of college.
4:30PM The Jeffersons #78 "Lionel Gets the Business"
George is ecstatic when Lionel joins the family business, however ecstatic is not the word to describe George when Lionel begins making major changes and even puts into effect a half price sale, a change that could put George out of business.
Sunday August 4th Sunday Best: Taxi--I Love NY
8:00PM #27 "Wherefore Art Thou, Bobby?"
Tony brings his fare, a young actor new to New York named Steve, to the garage to meet Bobby, so Bobby can give him acting pointers. Bobby takes Steve under his wing and soon Steve is cast as Romeo off-Broadway. A shocked Bobby then quits acting out of frustration, after seeing how Steve gets a job his second day in New York while Bobby still can't get a break. Bobby, resigned to being a full time cab driver, still shows his acting skills when he runs lines with Steve, but it takes some heckling from Louie to convince him to return to acting—in order to make Louie someday eat his words.
8:30PM #27 "Reverend Jim"
At Mario's, the cabbies run into the spaced-out derelict minister, Reverend Jim, who officiated at Latka's wedding. Charmed by him, yet taking pity on him, they make it their mission to get him a job as a cabbie. Louie is adverse to this at first, but Jim seems to slip a sedative into Louie's coffee and he then changes his tune. The next hurdle is getting Jim a driver's license, which is a challenge as he not only has trouble with his written exam, but his application, as well. Nonetheless, he gets the license and begins work at the garage.
9:00PM #56 "Ten Percent Solution"
Bobby is fed up after losing an acting gig to an inferior actor with the right look, which he explains to be like Tony. Tony decides he wants to capitalize on this and give acting a try, and asks Bobby to be his manager. Reluctantly, Bobby agrees and soon, despite a terrible audition, Tony gets a major role in a movie. Bobby is soon regretting his decision to take Tony under his wing, though, since he's resentful that Tony (whose acting is not improving, despite Bobby's coaching) could get a part so easily. Bobby feels vinidicated, however, when Tony is eventually cut from the film because of his lack of skills. Executive Producer Ed Weinberger guest stars.
9:30PM #101 "Louie Goes Uptown"
Louie decides to buy a luxury co-op apartment with some help on the down payment from the newly wealthy Jim. Unfortunately, Louie first has to convince a snooty co-op board that he is right for their building (as he comes in, they are rejecting actress Penny Marshall because they don't approve of the actress lifestyle). Bringing Alex for support, Louie has his work cut out for him when he sees that the board is bigoted. Alex goes on a tirade against their discriminatory process, and the board accepts Louie just to spite Alex. Penny Marshall guest stars as her self.
Stay tuned on this thread for episode info of the rest of the Box Sets and Sunday Best.
