Help me! I need some fast, do-at-home, er, painless ideas for lightening hair! I've tried Sun-In, but it doesn't seem to work.

Does Hydrogen Peroxide actually work? If so, how much do I add? Do I dilute it with water? What about bleach, like, regular laundry bleach? I'd go out and just buy a bleaching kit, but um, my parents can't know about this....

I've got (well for now at least) hair color in the "Medium-light brown" category, with a few blonde streaks... and I need my hair lightened before Tuesday....

Somebody PLEASE help me!

One bottle straight hydrogen peroxide applied to hair and call me in the morning.

No! Not really! Stop! Dangerous!

What happens on Tuesday?

Well, nothing really, I just picked a random day... Oh, I see. Like Wimpy the hamburger eating guy on the Popye cartoons. Wimpy always says, "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today." I doubt that Wimpy intends to pay up though.

From what I've been told, peroxide isn't good for your hair. It does lighten your hair but there's something in it that can make your hair fall out. But thast's just what people have told me.
