Has Anyone Remember The Sitcom During The Back In the 80's everybody Remembers.

All that I remember about this show was that Ellen Burstyn played a divorced college professor who taught class in her house. Her divorced daughter and son, and very opinionated mother lived with her, too. At the beginning of every episode, she'd be sitting behind her desk, and addressed the audience directly about the problems about being a divorced career woman, etc. The only episode I remember was where her grandson kept running down the stairs and interrupting her class because their pet dog was having puppies and he wanted her to see.....I was young when it first came on, and I remember thinking was "Wow, the mom from 'The Exorcist' has her own T.V. show.' "

OMG...this show was hilarious. Well...I actually have a few episodes, and as I understood, it aired directly after Life With Lucy, and although it received better ratings than LWL...it just wasn't some huge ratings hit. Ellen was the "Ellen" of the 80's, while Ms. Degeneris was the Ellen of the 90's.
