Anybody here have a mullet hairdo? There's a mullet reference guide poster in my art class & it got me wondering if anybody out in the real world actually has a mullet. In case u don't know what it looks like (I didn't know either) a mullet is short on the sides & long in the back. An example would be country singer Billy Ray Cirus. Let me know :happyface

Okay, since nobody will admit it, I guess I'll be the first....

Hi, my name is TJL and I had a mullet.....

It was a long time ago in college. I don't know what I was doing, I was a stupid irrispondible kid.
Luckily few photos exsist of the mullet, so I do not have to be reminded of those horrible horrible times.

It's something I would just like to put behind me...

Although I've never had a mullet, I did have some pretty puffed up hair as a kid in the late-80s, early-90s, as evidenced by the following picture of myself and my first girlfriend, taken in 1990 at the tender age of 16...

I never even knew what a mullet was until I saw that one episode of Real World where Matt goes searching for mullets in New Orleands.

I thought we cleared this up.

A mullet is a duck with long hair in the back, short hair in the front.

Another good example of someone with a mullet is David Spade in the movie Joe Dirt. I've never had a mullet. However I did have lines shaved in my hair in the early 90's when that was somewhat popular.

I never had a mullet.
In this day and age mullets are a bit sad but, like anything spawned from the 1980's, I shall not disrespect them.
ALL HAIL THE MULLET!!!!

Yeah, me too. I still have loads of old toys and clothes from the 80's which I refuse to get rid of. My mother keeps threatening to chuck 'em all out but I'll kill her if she does!

Nope! Saying Jo had a mullet would be the same thing as saying Carol Brady, Jennifer Garner(In Daredevil/Electra) and Linda Carter(thinks during late 70's and thru the 80's) all having had mullets.
Yes, Jo(as well as those other 3) had what is known as the female equivelant to a mullet. They call it a Fullet.

I still hear that mullets are still popular as a hairstyle for men throughout the entire South.(Especially in the rural parts of The South.)Last year I was travelling down I-40 east of Oklahoma all the way to Raleigh to catch a Blue-Devils game with sme friends of mine, and just about every exit we took that wasn't in the cities we came across at least one gentleman who had a rediculous David Spade from Joe Dirt-ish looking Mullet for their official hair-style. You know who even keeps those Joe Dirt-ish mullets still popular and alive? Alan Jackson! Oh, yes!

Good Grief, my nephew Patrick has a mullet. He's 23, and convinced that it makes him the "Sex God" as he likes to call it. Actually makes him look like more of a weasel than he has ever been, but it's his headache. I personally have never had one never will.
